We are a two-person operation. This means that everything with our name on it is conceived, formulated, designed, crafted and used by us. We approach making our products as an opportunity to create unique and healthful recipes packaged with our distinct design. The drawings on our wrappings are inspired by things in our day-to-day, like our cats and the city we live in. Many of the scent combinations are influenced by what we cook in our kitchen and fantastic meals that we’ve eaten. We try to replicate the spirit of those flavors in our soaps.
All of our products are made with an organic base of plant oils and butters. Each has a scent that we have carefully crafted to evoke a certain quality or for it's healthful properties; we use only essential oils, organic teas, fair trade coffee and organic botanicals. They are vegan, 100% natural, 98% organic, and never tested on animals.
Each wrap is hand printed using a stamp cut from drawings made by us. We use kraft and unbleached paper, made from 25% hemp fiber and 75% post consumer recycled paper.
We founded Meow Meow Tweet out of a desire to participate in local commerce by sharing what we think is one of life’s simplest pleasures: soap. As purveyors, we hope to impact small changes in the lives of our customers through the physical, emotional and ecological healthfulness of completely natural and organic goods for your body. With MMT, we hope to make that experience accessible and our process transparent. We seek to inspire and be inspired with what we make, and when it happens share it with others.
